Easter has come - Hurray!! Hurray!!
The day that Christ arose
To bring to me salvation
And vanquish all my foes

The flowers of spring are blooming
Donning their colors fine
The lovely stately lilies
And the beauteous columbine

Children in Easter finery
Hunt eggs of pastel hue
Hidden deep within the grass
Beneath the sky of blue

Their baskets overflowing
With chocolate bunny delight
With sugar chicks and jelly beans
And all their world seems right.

Easter has come - Hurray!! Hurray!!
A day for young and old
To laugh and play in newborn life
Its beauty to behold
