Robert Ludlum

Robert Ludlum is the author of many books in the adventure/espionage section. He writes mainly about the "Cold" war and the behind the scenes people who create the situations we hear about on the news each day. His books are gripping and very hard to put down.

Bourne Identity
Bourne Supremacy
Bourne Ultimatum
These three books detail the enigma of Jason Bourne. Left for Dead, he has no memory of who he really is, but he knows the oddest things, like how to tear down a gun and reassemble it in seconds. How to disguise himself. How to defend himself against all comers, and strangest of all, how to get into a numbered Swiss bank account. These are a must read if you like high suspense thrillers.
Chancellor ManuscriptA novel within a novel. The main character is a novelist who writes about possibilities based on fact. What if J Edgar Hoover hadn't really died peacefully, but had if fact been murdered!! This is the basis for the Chancellor Manuscript and the story is fast, furious and spellbinding.
Road to Gandolfo
Road to Ohama
These two are extremely funny thrillers if you can imagine it. The main characters are the Hawk (General MacKenzie Lochinvar Hawkins) - former general of the army - twice winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor, and a military legend and Sam Devereaux - his unwilling but very competant legal wizard. They get into and out of more scrapes and manage to stay one jump ahead of the other side, but their methods are certainly unorthadox to say the least.
Matarese Circle
Matarese Countdown
These two are about a secret organization that attempts to take over the world by controling the money, creating a world depression, and then stepping in with the ultimate solution. Very exciting books.
