Piers Anthony is a prolific fantasy writer. I have really enjoyed his Xanth Series, a tongue in cheek look at life!! Xanth is a land of magic, everyone must be able to do something magic by the time he reaches maturity, or he is exiled to Mundania. Everything in Xanth is a pun, from the Fruit Flies Tree (flying apples, flying bananas, flying pears) or the Eye Queue vine that adds brain cells to your head if you get tangled up in it.

Xanth is a country shaped more or less like Florida, since the author lives in Florida this does make a bit of sense, but he is quick to say that any resemblence to Florida is only in the mind of the author.

A Spell for Chameleon	Bink sets out to find his magic as he seems to have none, and finds Chameleon. Together they find their places in Xanth.
The Source of Magic	The King is curious as to where Xanths magic comes from, so he sends Bink off on a quest to find it's source, with some unexpected results.
